Submitting several projects

A participant may submit several projects to the competition.

Choice of category

Any submission can only be processed in one category. If a submission is entered in multiple categories, IAKS reserves the right to put it forward for judging only in the most appropriate category. If IAKS deems that a submission is more appropriately placed in another category, it reserves the right to move it to that category.

Submissions from previous competitions

Submissions which have been entered in a previous IAKS competition and have not been significantly updated are not eligible for this year's competition.

Entry requirements

The IAKS is entitled to disqualify any submission which does not confirm to the mandatory requirements for the competition.

Due to the current situation in Ukraine, the IAKS kindly asks parties from Russia and Belarus to refrain from submitting a project. The next occasion to submit will be in 2025, while everybody hopes that the situation will not last another two years.

Entry deadline

Entries to the awards must be submitted online via the website by 24:00 h Berlin time on 30 April 2023. You will receive an email confirmation once your entry has been submitted.

Publishing winning entries

A participants whose submission is awarded a prize must make available high-quality digital photographs, plans and/or graphics of the winning submission at the IAKS‘ request and in accordance with the IAKS’ specifications by 15th September 2023 at the latest.

Copyright

The copyright of all materials assembled will become the property of the organiser. These may be used for the purpose of publicising the competition results.

Winners and finalists may state in promotional activities and on their stationery that they are a winner or a finalist
